MyZenTAB 708B has a front camera of 0.3 megapixel camera and an external support of USB mouse and keyboard. It also supports 3G dongle for 3G network access. It has built in WiFi (b/g/n) support. The tablet also has internal storage of 4 GB.

The MyZenTAB 708B is currently available for Rs 5,999 from Snapdeal.com and Carrefour Cash and Carry stores in India. The same promotion is also being made available through distributors and dealers all over India.
Though the company claims that the tablet is meant for business as well as for commoners, the tablet apart from the expandable RAM doesn't seem to have anything special for even the price being asked for as you get several such tablets from the likes of Micromax and Karbonn. Also, we do not know about the build quality of the tablet and if the company has done something better with that, then only does it make any sense.

Aakash 2's commercial version available for pre-booking

Canadian company, Datawind has formally announced a new version of its much hyped Aakash tablet. Named Aakash 2, the tablet was unveiled by Pranab Mukherjee, President of India. Designed and manufactured by Datawind, the Aakash 2 tablet comes with a 7-inch display and houses a 1 GHz mobile processor.
Datawind has not officially announced the price of the tablet yet but few reports have said that the tablet will be available to students for a subsidiesed price of Rs 1,130. However, Datawind in its official press release said that the tablet is commercially available in the market as UbiSlate 7Ci for a price of Rs 4,499. The company also told The Mobile Indian that they will provide the tablet to the Human Resource Ministry for distribution among students for Rs 2,263.
"The price is Rs 2,263 at which the government purchases the device from us. The government subsidises it by 50 per cent and it will be distributed to students at Rs 1,130," Datawind chief executive officer Suneet Tuli was quoted as saying.
Aakash 2's commercial version available
Datawind promises to supply 100,000 units to the Institute of Information and Technology - Bombay which will further distribute those tablets to Engineer Universities.
The Aakash 2 tablet arrives with 7-inch touchscreen display that supports 480x800 pixel resolution natively. This screen is capable of supporting 4-point multi-touch. Datawind has used a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 mobile processor and 512 MB RAM to power the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system of the tablet. There is a front facing VGA camera to click images or initiate video chat. There is a 3.5 mm audio port to enjoy music on the same. On normal battery, the tablet offers about three hours of run time.
The teaching faculties of the IIT Bombay have also claimed to build some applications for the Engineering Students on the Aakash 2 tablet.
The first version of the tablet, Aakash was the dream of many and eventually turned into a nightmare. Delays in the availability, disappointing device quality and several issues plagued the first generation Aakash Tablet. In fact, we still get inquiries about where to purchase or order Aakash Tablet from. Many who have already ordered the tablet are yet to hear from the company.
Though the subsidized Aakash 2 tablet's availability is not known yet, you can pre-book the UbiSlate 7Ci tablet from DataWind by following this link.
